Mint, Bowles (Mentha x villosa ver alopecuroides)
9cm pot
A hardy perennial which, like most mints, can be invasive if left unchecked. Very strongly flavoured, slightly hairy leaves and mauve flower spikes which are attractive to butterflies. Makes delicious tea and mint sauce.
Organic herbs raised from certified seed or mother plants and grown in peat-free Soil Association approved compost. These plants are well established in 9cm pots and are ready to plant out. We currently sell all our herbs in re-used plastic pots and encourage you to reuse the pots again to keep them out of landfill for as long as possible!
