English Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia)
2 X plug plants, well rooted. Plants are approximately 6-10cm tall, plus 10cm plug.
A hardy perennial herb with scented leaves and purple flower spikes. Shrubby growth habit which should be trimmed regularly to produce lots of new growth. A beautifully scented herb which can be used in baking, cordials or traditional lavender bags.
The purple flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies.
These plants can tolerate frost so long as their roots re kept fairly dry – so plant in a well drained site or a pot.
Organic herbs raised from certified seed or mother plants and grown in peat-free Soil Association approved compost. These plants are well established in 9cm pots and are ready to plant out. We currently sell all our herbs in re-used plastic pots and encourage you to reuse the pots again to keep them out of landfill for as long as possible!
